Widmark’s formula is used to estimate the theoretical peak Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) following the ingestion of a known quantity of alcohol:

$$BAC = \frac{A}{W \times r}$$

  • W: Body weight of the individual (in kilograms).
  • r: Widmark factor (distribution constant).
