Characteristics:

• Resting Membrane Potential: The baseline electrical charge difference across the cell membrane, maintained by ion gradients and membrane permeability.

• Conductivity: The capability to transmit electrical signals over distances without losing signal strength.

Types of Excitable Tissues:
