Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

• Secondary education completion with a focus on science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
• Strong grades and transcripts from high school.
• English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) if the applicant is from a non-English speaking country.
• Students must be at least 18 years old by the time the course starts.

Application Process – Step by Step

Step 1: Submit Online Application

• Access the online application form at mefst.unist.hr
• Upload the required documents:
  • Academic transcripts
  • Passport copy
  • Personal statement
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL if applicable)
  • Motivation letter and CV

Step 2: Entrance Exam or MCAT

• Applicants must take the entrance exam in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, OR submit MCAT scores.
• The entrance exam can be taken online or at designated centers.

Step 3: Interview

• Shortlisted candidates are invited for an online or in-person interview focusing on communication skills, motivation, and academic interests.

Step 4: Admission Decision

• Offers are made based on exam performance, interview, and academic record.

Step 5: Visa & Enrollment

• Accepted students must apply for a Croatian student visa and complete the tuition fee payment to secure enrollment.

• Approx. €12,000 per year
• Scholarships may be offered to high-achieving students
