Accreditation procedures:
By Decision 2020/5 / XI / 2 of 22 May 2020, the Hungarian Accreditation Committee decided to expand its accreditation portfolio and undertook to initiate the recognition of medical education at the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), a global quality assessment board. The expansion of the accreditation portfolio ensures the competitiveness of Hungarian medical education, also contributes to the support of the internationalization of higher education, and results in the incorporation of additional international accreditation standards. In addition to the Health and Medical Committee, the MAB also directly involves Hungarian medical training places in the process. The MAB has applied for the WFME accreditation process to obtain accreditation by 2024.
