1. Clearance

For first-order kinetics:

Cl = k \times V_d


2. Volume of Distribution

V_d = \frac{D}{C_0}


3. Elimination Rate Constant

k = \frac{0.693}{t_{1/2}}


4. Half-Life

t_{1/2} = \frac{0.693 \times V_d}{Cl}


5. Loading Dose

LD = \frac{C_{ss} \times V_d}{F}


6. Maintenance Dose

Maintenance\ Dose = \frac{C_{ss} \times Cl \times \tau}{F}

If τ = 1 (per hour basis):

MD = \frac{C_{ss} \times Cl}{F}


7. Rate of Infusion

R_{in} = C_{ss} \times Cl


8. Time to Reach Steady State

t_{ss} \approx 4-5 \times t_{1/2}

\frac{C(t)}{C_{ss}} = 1 - e^{-kt}
