Sexuality • Sexual interest does not significantly decline with age
Partner availability is the strongest predictor of sexual activity
Men: slower erections, longer refractory period, require more stimulation
Women: vaginal dryness, thinning of vaginal epithelium
Sleep • Early-morning awakenings are common
• Decreased deep sleep (↓ slow-wave sleep)
• REM sleep remains stable until age >85
