M08.10.017 Nonmelanoma Skin Cancer
Nonmelanoma skin cancer is the most common type of skin cancer and includes two major forms:
- Basal cell carcinoma (BCC)
- Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)
These cancers arise mainly due to chronic sun exposure.
The details of BCC and SCC will be covered in the next two chapters.
