Summary

As an Anatomy Consultant at MyMedSchool.org, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of anatomy education are upheld throughout our courses. Collaborating with our instructional design team and faculty, you will review and enhance existing course content, design innovative learning experiences, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize student engagement and knowledge retention.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing anatomy course content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Analyze learner feedback, performance data, and learning outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted enhancements.
  • Innovate and develop interactive and immersive anatomy learning experiences using multimedia elements, virtual anatomy resources, and advanced visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to design new course modules, incorporating active learning strategies and case-based learning approaches.
  • Integrate emerging technologies and instructional methodologies into the anatomy curriculum to foster a dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment.
  • Provide expertise in the development of high-level cognition quizzes and assessments to challenge learners’ critical thinking and clinical reasoning abilities.
  • Support faculty and educators in implementing effective teaching strategies and best practices for anatomy education.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and research in anatomy education and disseminate knowledge to the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Anatomy, Anatomy Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in anatomy education, curriculum development, and course enhancement.
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy principles, human anatomy dissection, and medical imaging techniques.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Proficiency in integrating multimedia elements, virtual anatomy resources, and interactive technologies into educational content.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of developments in anatomy education.

Requirements

  • Experience in online medical education or e-learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and course authoring tools.
  • Publication or research experience in anatomy education or related fields.

Location:

Remote work with occasional virtual team meetings and collaborations.
